Albert B. " Buddy " Sisson

Graveside service for Albert B. " Buddy " Sisson 87, of Gainesville will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pavillion at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Kremling officating, service under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday November 4, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Buddy passed away on October 31, 2013 in Gainesville, Texas.

Buddy was born on November 19, 1925 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Boyd and Lorene Clements Sisson. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1942 and attended Gainesville Junior College. Buddy served in the U. S. Army from 1952 to 1954, assigned to the Army Finance School at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, Indiana. Retired from Atlantic Richfield Company, Los Angeles, CA. on May 20, 1977 after 26 years of employment, in the company's International Division. Returned to Gainesville on May 26, 1977 and was employed by the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral home until his retirement. Buddy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville and loved animals especially cats and loved to play Bridge.

Buddy is survived nieces Annette Hunner and her husband Chuck, Laura Jane Downie and her husband Hamish and a nephew Luther Boyd Sisson Jr. and his wife Debra, several grandnephews and nieces and great grandnephews and nieces and many friends.
