Barbara Jo Balthrop

Funeral services for Barbara Jo Balthrop, 70, of Gainesville, are set for 3:00 PM Friday June 10, 2016 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosston Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Barbara was born on December 6, 1945 to Gertrude and Lonnie Holt. She passed away on June 5, 2016. She married W. Dwaine Balthrop on January 26, 1964.

She is survived by her sister Alice Scott; sister-in-law Charlene Holt; daughter Nancy Rogers; son Bobby Balthrop and his wife Suzie; daughter Betty Brumme and her husband Robert; 8 granchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother Bill Holt; brother Wallace Holt; and sister Wanda Scott.
