Maggie Heckaman

A memorial service for Margaret Ann (Reece) Heckaman, 78, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Pecan Tree Manor in Gainesville.

Mrs. Heckaman passed away June 20, 2016 in Gainesville.

Maggie was born July 14, 1937 in Anderson, Indiana to Russell and Adeline Reece. In 1956, she married Paul Heckaman in Anderson. Mrs. Heckaman touched many lives through the countless hours she volunteered at Community Hospital in Anderson. She moved to Texas later in life to be with her family. Mrs. Heckaman was an avid golfer and loved her family deeply.

Survivors include: son Stephen Heckaman and wife Erin of Pilot Point; daughter Lori Heckaman and fiancé Gerald Ashmore of Gainesville; and grandchildren: Riley, Warren, and Addy.

Mrs. Heckaman was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
