Glenda Sue (Flanagan) Neu

Funeral services for Glenda Sue Neu, 68, of Farmers Branch, are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Chaplain Tommy Poppin officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Neu passed away, with family members by her side, on September 5, 2019 in Granbury following a long illness.

Glenda Sue was born December 28, 1950 in Comanche, TX to Glenn and Lois (Goldsmith) Flanagan.  The family moved to Whitesboro, where she received her education.  Glenda Sue received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from North Texas State University.  She married the love of her life, Roy Don Neu on September 23, 1989.  The couple built a successful construction company, Neuco & Associates.  Glenda Sue loved fishing and shopping at garage sales.  She looked forward to family gatherings, especially fish fries.  Most of all, she treasured the moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include: son William Don “Billy” Neu and wife Amber of Rowlett; daughter Kathy Vander Zee and husband Dan of Granbury; grandchildren: Ashley, Joshua, Rebecca, Lindsey, Lacey, and Lilley; great-grandchildren: Collin, Brooklynne, Carson, Bailee, Maddie, Sloan, and Lawson; brother Rick Flanagan and wife Starla of Weatherford; brother Rodney Flanagan and wife Jennifer of Comanche; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Neu was preceded in death by: parents Glenn and Lois Flanagan; and husband Roy Don Neu.
