Funeral services for Willie Mae Richardson, 83, of Rowlett, formerly of Forestburg, have been
set for Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the George J. Carroll & Son Chapel with
Sonny Cole and Lloyd Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rosston Cemetery under the direction
of George J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Mrs. Richardson passed away Sunday January 9,
2011 in Rowlett. Willie Mae was born May 3, 1927 to William and Ida May Barclay Kuykendall
in Forestburg. She was a member of the Forestburg Church of Christ. Her favorite quote from
church was: "Angels do walk the earth and they wear pink and purple to church on Sunday."
Willie Mae is survived by her son Johnny Richardson and his wife Hae Sun of Forestburg;
daughters Teresa Jenkins and her husband Jimmy of Forestburg, Debra Flowers of Nocona,
Delaina Sims and her husband Ronnie of Garland, Joan McDaniel and her husband Charley of
Forestburg; sisters Treva Cook of Grand Prairie, Melva Defoor and her husband Raymond of
Republic, Missouri, sister Jimmie Britain of Forestburg; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren
and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Willie Mae is preceded in death by her husband
Johnny Roy Richardson, parents William and Ida May Barclay Kuykendall, brother Garland Ray
Kuykendall, and sister Lois Oleta Rich. The family will receive friends and loved ones at the
funeral home Tuesday January 11, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. You may sign the on-line
