Millie Haggard

Graveside services for Millie Kay Haggard, 85, of Gainesville are set for Monday February 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, TX with the Rev. Hubert Wright officiating. Mrs. Haggard passed away Friday February 18, 2011 at River Valley Nursing Home.

Millie was born February 3, 1925 in Dexter, was raised in Delaware Bend, to Samuel Garrett and Peachie W Rash Vantine. She married Joseph Howard Haggard on January 1947 and they had one son: Ronald Lynn Haggard. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Millie is survived by M.D. and June Ragsdale of Sherman, TX, Peggy and Leon Abbe of Yukon, Ok, Patsy and David Parker of Archer City, TX, Rita and Don Passariello of Wichita Falls, TX, June Waggoner of Wichita Falls, TX, John and Peggy Haggard of Trinity, TX, Faye Clenny of Texarkana, TX, Betty Jackson of Kerrvillle, TX, Charles and Pat McPherson of Lavon, TX, and loved ones: Tommy and Lynda Langston and Marcia Smart.

Millie is preceded in death by her: Parents, husband, and son.
