Troy Hammer

Graveside service with Miltary Honors for Troy Hammer 72, of Gainesville are set for Thursday March 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Hollis Parsons officating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 16, 2011 from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hammer passed away on March 14, 2011 at his home.

Troy was born on February 10, 1939 in Jacksboro Tx, to William Alford and Lucinda Covington Hammer. Mr. Hammer served in the United States Air Force and worked at National Supply and later as a truck driver for Alan Ritchey Inc.

Troy is survived by a son Bobby Don Hammer of Gainesville, three sisters Margaret Bennett of Gainesville, Doris Williams of Gainesville and Glenda Hammer of Flower Mound.
