Clemens B. Hermes

Funeral Mass for Clemens B. Hermes, 80, of Lindsay, will be conducted on Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gainesville with the Father Raymond McDaniel officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll Funeral Home. A rosary will be conducted on Tuesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M.

Mr. Hermes died on April 3, 2011 in Gainesville. He was born on March 6, 1931 in Cooke County to Clemens and Amelia Rauschuber Hermes.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hess Hermes of Lindsay; daughter and son-in-law Danita and Duane Neu of Denton; sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Carla Hermes of The Colony and Scott and Amy Hermes of Whitesboro; grandchildren Chad and Casey Neu, Ron and Lauren Hermes, Jake, Clay, and Lindsay Hermes. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Hundt, Louise Schad, Frieda Hundt, Millie Voth, Rita Corcoran, Angela Haverkamp, and Bernice Strittmatter; his brothers Joe Hermes and Gilbert Hermes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Anna Hermes and his son Jeff Hermes.



The nephews of Mr. Hermes will serve as pall bearers.
