Tanya Mccoy

Our beautiful Tanya Rea Gramling McCoy devoted mother, beloved wife, loving sister, precious friend and last but not least grandmother left all of us on April 3rd, 2011 with a tremendous hole in our hearts but such good memories. She was a very young 59 born on October 19th, 1951 in Rogers, Arkansas to J.S. and Sara Gramling. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1969, married H.P. McCoy on January 24th, 1971 with a lasting love of 41 years that endured the test of time. She is survived by her husband H.P. McCoy of Gainesville, TX. Also her two children Nick McCoy and Meredith Cronenwett and son-in-law Chris Cronenwett and the apple of her eye her grandson Miles McCavitt. She also leaves her two brothers Johnny Gramling and Doug Gramling and one sister-in-law Diana Gramling, Mother and Father In-Law, Harry and Billie McCoy, nieces and nephews Mallory, Morgan, Jason, Eric and Johnathan. Tanya also gave valuable time and efforts to many causes working for the homeless, alcoholics and The Elisa Project for eating disorders. Tanya had been diagnosed with MS but never lost her independence or fight for her love of life. Her last selfless act was to be sure that her tissues were donated to a brain study on MS at UCLA in hopes to help others. Her last wishes stated “I don’t need any hoopla, just throw me a kiss, and I’ll see you when I see you.” Her beauty and grace will be missed.
