Funeral services for Naomi Juanita Wlson are set for Tuesday May 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Whitesboro Tx with Reverend Joe Patterson and Reverend David Hart officating with burial to follow in Reed Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday May 2, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:0p.m.

Naomi was born on October 12, 1919 in Gainesville Tx to J.C. and Rachel Yoakum. She was church pianist for over 60 yrs. Naomi loved gardening and growing and showing off her Irises gave her great pleasure. She loved being with and surrouned by her family and friends.



Naomi is survived by daughter Nita Ramsey of Woodbine and sons and daughter in laws Bill and Linda Wilson of Whitesboro and Jim and Barbara Yoakum of Duncanville. She has 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvie Wilson, sons Graydon Wilson and James Wilson, grandson John Alvie Ramsey, son in law John W. Ramsey , three brothers and one sister. Pallbearers will be Tracy, Brad and Brent Ramsey, Blake Wilson, Ronnie Cook and Mike Watson.Honorary pallbearers will be Gayle Parker, Ezelle Peyrot, Tom sims, Jerry rawlins, Jimmy Hackler and Jonathan Day., You may sign the online registry at geojcarroll.com
