Funeral services for Bobbie Shasteen, 74, of Gainesville, are set for Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating with burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Gainesville.

Bobbie was born in Lewisville on January 1, 1937 to Robert J. and Naomi Mirl Loter Goodman. She passed away on May 23, 2011 in Dallas.

She is survived by her husband Jim Shasteen of Gainesville; daughter Eleise Blake of Collinsville; daughter Cheryl Carver of Lewisville; daughter Caren Fredde of Lewisville; daughter Lynn Gibbs of Gainesville; six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
