Memorial service for Millard Charles Rains 77, of Gainesville are set for Tuesday July 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Geo.J. Carroll and Son Chapel with Larry Kremling officating. Mr. Rains passed away on July 23, 2011 at his residence. No visitation is planned.

Millard was born on January 15, 1934 in Thackerville Oklahoma to M.O. and Ruby Lee Boggs Rains.Charles retired from Barnes Brothers Drilling and enjoyed the outdoors.He is survived by his children Linda Sue Rains of Gainesville, Shirley Ann Coulter of Little Elm,Jeral Lynn Whitefield of Lindsay, Dee Ann Knight of Grandbury , Mitchell Owen Rains of Myra and Randy Charles Rains of Gainesville. Twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Brothers Jimmy Wayne Rains of Thackerville Okla, Billy Wayne Rains of Gainesville and sister Linnie Fay Sewell of Gainesville.He was preceded in death by his parents. you may sign the on line registry at geojcarroll.com
