John Cecil Bullard

Memorial service for John Cecil Bullard 77, of Gainesville will be held on Friday July 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church 401 N. Dixon Street ,Gainesville, Texas, with the Reverend Mark Loewen officating under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. J. C. died on July 24, 2011 at Pecan Tree Manor.

John Cecil Bullard, known as J. C. by family and friends, was born on December 6, 1934 in Gainesville Texas to Cecil and Joyce Bullard. He married Marilyn Northcutt from Marietta , Oklahoma on August 26, 1961.

J.C. earned his Bachelor's Degree from Texas A & M, College Station, Texas. He taught high school science for the Callisburg Independent School District and continued his education at North Texas University in School Administration.
Mr. Bullard left the teaching field to become an independent buisness man in the automotive industry industry. He operated a service station, a wrecker service, and then built his own automotive parts buisness.J. C. was a member of the First Christian Church of Gainesville.

J.C. is survived by his wife, Marilyn Bullard; his daughter and son-in-law, Vena and Don Theune of Haymarket, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Kaye and Jim Marbry of Little Elm, Texas; grandchildren Nikki Cope of Gainesville, Andrew Theune of Haymarket, Virginia; Kathryn Marbry, Jordan Marbry, and Michael Marbry of Little Elm ,Texas; brother Ralph Bullard of Gainesville.He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Joyce Bullard.
