Ted Joseph Endres

Funeral service for Ted Joseph Endres 61, of Gainesville are set for Sunday August 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with Fr. Ken Robinson officating with burial to follow in Nocona Cemetery in Nocona Texas. A rosary will be recited on Saturday August 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation to follow at the funeral home. Mr. Endres passed away on August 10, 2011 in Denton Texas.

Ted was born on October 31, 1949 in Muenster Texas to Raymond and Elitha Marie Neu Endres. Ted resided in Gainesville and served in the U. S. Army where he received various medals for his service .Mr. Endres returned from the service where he was employed as a Vet. Asst. for Dr. Davis.Ted then went to work for Burk Royalty Oil as a pumper. He also was very active in the Gainesville Band Booster club and worked as a substitue teacher in the G. I. S.D.. Ted enjoyed the outdoors, playing golf ,solving and putting together puzzles and spending time with his family and was known for playing a joke or pulling a prank every now and then.

Ted is survived by his daughters Elisa Endres Lawson and son-in-law Josh Lawson, Mona Endres and Megan Endres. Also Suzan Endres, mother Elitha Endres, God mother Lorene Neu, brothers and daughters in law Jerry and Chieko Endres, Ron and Connie Endres, Tim and Debbie Endres and Pat and Janice Endres, sisters Claudia Taylor, Rachael Graves and her husband Terry, Susan Metzler and her husband Mark and Sally Ferguson and her husband Jimmy. Also aunts, uncles,cousins and dear friends. numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews,
