Funeral services for Virginia McMichael Jones 86, formely of Gainesville are set for Saturday September 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the George J. Carroll and Son Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday September 9, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Virginia was born on July 16, 1925 in Toledo Ohio to Charles and Thelma Isabelle Linzie Janney. Virginia was a school teacher for many years and was a active member of the Stanford house in Gainesville. Virginia goal in life was to live for the Lord everyday. Virginia is survived by a daughter Karen Barrett of Corinth Tx, sons Donald McMichael of Denver Colo. and David McMichael of Singapore, five grandchildren seven great grandchildren and a brother Elwood Janney of Toledo Ohio.
