Edalou R. "Billie" Steed

Funeral Services for Edalou "Billie" R. Steed, 76, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 am Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Roach officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the funeral home.

Edalou was born on January 6, 1935 in Carbonhill, AL to Samuel Glenn and Mary Thelma Faulkner Smith. She passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 in Denton.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law Vickie Lynn and Kevin Camp of Gainesville; sister Olivia Rivoire of Gainesville; sister and brother in law Thellis and Norris Chapman of Longview. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Billie was preceeded in death by her parents and her sons Charles Glenn Steed and Keith Wayne Steed.

Pallbearers will be Cody Lee, Brad Steed, Chris Chapman, Clinton Chapman, Rory Rivoire, and Ray Sappington.
