Barbara Jewel Smith

Graveside service for Barbara Jewel Smith, 72, of Gainesville, are set for 11:00 am Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at New Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Barbara was born in Dallas to Johnny and Jewel Wilkins Jimerson on August 30, 1939. She passed away on September 18, 2011 in Collinsville.

She is survived by her mother Jewel Gill of Waco; daughter Margie Burris of Valley View; daughter Robin Byrd of New Port Richie, FL; son James Frazier of Greenville; sister Paula Frost of Waco; sister Martha McGuire of Buffalo; brother Ricky Gill of Katy. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
