Penny Pecora

Funeral services for Penny Louise Pecora, 60, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 pm Thursday October 13, 2011 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Gainesville, with the Rev. Scott Sundbye officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 7:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 12, 2011.

Penny was born on October 6, 1951 in Ft Wayne, IN. to Walter Edward and Carolyn Sue Vaughn Richter. She passed away on October 10, 2011 in Gainesville.

Penny married Paul Pecora on February 23, 1997 in Gainesville. She worked for Weber for 24 years. Penny never met a stranger. She was a great cook and baker. She also enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her husband Paul of Gainesville; son and daughter in law Ricky and Angela Schuman of Ardmore, OK; daughter and son in law Paula and Chris Wheeler of Denton; son and daughter in law Noah and April Pecora of Collinsville; grandchildren Tommy Schuman, Chris Schuman, Tatum Pecora, Mason Pecora; mother and step father Sue and Clifton Houk of Sevierville, TN; sister and brother in law Kathy and Steve Newland of Sevierville, TN; brother and sister in law Bob and Debbie Richter of Sevierville, TN; brother and sister in law Dan and Lygia Richter of Whitesboro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Penny was preceded in death by her father Walter Richter, and a brother Bruce Richter.

Pallbearers will be Dan Richter, Noah Pecora, Chris Wheeler, Colt Williams, James Valentine, and George Gonzalez.
