Robert Charles Tribelhorn

Robert " Bob " CharlesTribelhorn passed away October 22, 2011 at Lake Kiowa, TX. He was born January 18, 1926 in Hartford, Connecticut to Charles and Marion Tribelhorn. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of Lake Kiowa, TX; daughters and husbands Carol and Gary Johnson of Irving Tx, Debbie and Pete Womble of Grand Prairie, TX; stepdaughters and husbands Denise and Keith of McKinney Tx, and Pam and Gary Ledsinger of Danville Ca., stepson and wife Tim and Jolene Willard of Butler, PA. and Aiken S.C. Bob had 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.



Bob served in WWII in the US Navy Air Fleet at Clarks Field, Philippines, as a radioman/gunner/PB4Y/PBY. After his military service, Bob attended the University of Connecticut and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Later he joined LTV as a quality control manager. He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church, a 32nd degree Mason, an avid golfer, and a loyal Texas Rangers fan. He loved life and family and will be deeply missed.



Burial will be Monday, October 31 at 12:30 PM in the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. A celebration of his life will be held at Lake Kiowa Lodge on Friday November 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Presbyterian church of Gainesville, Cooke County Home Hospice or the charity of your choice.
