Funeral services for Douglas Wayne Truitt 56, of Gainesville are set for Monday October 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Lonnie Dodson officating with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 30, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Wayne passed away on October 28, 2011 in Gainesville Texas.



Wayne was born on February 28, 1955 in Gainesville Tx to Donald and Thelma Truitt. Wayne was employed by Superior Machining and Fabrication in Muenster Tx. He liked going to Flea markets and auctions. Wayne is survived by his brother and sister in law Gary and Diane Truitt who reside in In. Also nieces Jessica, Naomi, Susannah and Deanna and a nephew Nathan. He also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a special friend Fay Summar.
