Funeral Services for Rita Gore, 59, of Gainesville are set for 11:00 am Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the funeral home.

Rita was born on October 8, 1952 in Gainesville to Mugg and Hattie Lou Orsburn Pawless. She passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 in Ft. Worth.

Rita was employed at Tom Thumb for 26 years. She loved children, even babysitting on the side as she worked full time. She loved to plan any child's party and holiday events for children were always special to her. Her grandchildren were her life and she cherished every moment she got to spend with each and every one of them.

She is survived by her husband Larry Gore of Gainesville; son Steven Gore and his wife Leah of Gainesville; daughter Christie Cuenco and her husband January of Gainesville; her parents Mugg and Hattie Pawless of Gainesville; Sister and brother in law Toni and Weldon Holland of Gainesville; brother Vince Pawless of Gainesville; brother and sister in law Blaine and Melanie Pawless of Aurora; grandchildren Regan Gore, Christian Daughterty, Adrianna Tellez-Ayers, Morgan Daugherty, Megan Daugherty, Caitlin Menapace, Will Ayers, and Sean Gore.

She is also survived numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
