Freddie Joe Hacker

Funeral services for Freddie Joe Hacker, 67, of Muenster, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Coker Cemetery in Bulcher. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, December 23, 2011.



Freddie passed away December 21, 2011 in Dallas.



Mr. Hacker was born on September 22, 1944 in Muenster to William Andrew and Anna Augusta Sicking Hacker. He married Odessa Mitchell on January 4, 1977 in Sherman. He was the owner and operator of various oil leases. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and loved life. He was a great loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.



Freddie is survived by his wife Odessa Hacker of Muenster; son Donald Hacker of Magnolia; son and daughter-in-law Basil and Donna Hacker of Midland; daughter and son-in-law Tressie and Michael Lewis of St. Jo; daughter LaDonna Hacker of St. Jo; grandchildren Tiffany Hacker, Katelyn Hacker, Brandi Griffin, Jennifer Hogan, Joshua Hacker, Marc Hacker, Sury Hacker, Donald Hacker, Jr., Mandy Hacker, Basil Hacker, Jr., Jamie Hacker, Sonya Coulston, and Kamron Lewis. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.



Survivors also include Mr. Hacker’s brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Wanda Hacker of St. Jo; brother and sister-in-law Jim and Lynda Hacker of Myra; brother and sister-in-law Walter and Lauri Hacker of Myra; brother and sister-in-law Louis and Paula Hacker of Whitesboro; sister Agnes Brandon of Krum; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.



Freddie was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Johnny Hacker; brother Paul Hacker; brother Edward Hacker; brother Rob Hacker; brother Henry Hacker; sister Anna Margaret Temple.



Pallbearers will be James Hacker, Jeff Temple, Allan Hacker, Patrick Hacker, Jimmy Hacker, and Tony Hacker. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Hacker.
