Graveside service for Joanna Griffith 51, of Gainesville will be held on February 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview cemetery with Pastor Jack Warren officating under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home.The family will receive friends on Sunday February 19, 2012 from 7:00 til 8:30 p.m..



Joanna was born on September 4, 1960 in Stamford Tx to Harold and Mildred Anglin Stockwell. Joanna married Matt Griffith on September 23, 1977 in Gainesville. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her husband Matt Griffith of Gainesville, sons Joseph Griffith of Gainesville and James Griffith of Whitesboro; and four grandchildren. Joanna is also survived by sisters Jackie Stockwell of Garland Tx, Katrina Stockwell of Ardmore Ok, Starla Selby of Era, Mary Stockwell of Central Tx and Brother Phillip Stockwell of Gainesville.
