Adeline Sophie Devers

Funeral mass for Adeline Sophie Devers, 88, of Valley View, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, February 20, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cruz officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. A wake will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Devers died February 16 2012 in Gainesville.

Adeline was born September 21, 1923 in Muenster to Albert B. and Anna Stoffels Knabe.

Mrs. Devers is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Billy and Margie Devers of Valley View; daughter and son-in-law Vicky and Nathan Newton of Valley View; son and daughter-in-law Lee and Becky Devers of Valley View; grandchildren Michele Yosten, Sheila Boyd, Clayton Huddleston, Wesley Huddleston, Barbara Devers, Jason Devers, Diana Devers, Cynthia Arrington, Jeremy Devers, Philip Devers, Stephanie Bothwell, Heather Goodwin, Adam Devers, and Stephanie Baird. She is survived by numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Sr. Anselma Knabe of Fort Worth, Margaret Schmitt, Lillian Cardwell and Angie Lutkenhaus all of Muenster, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; son Daniel Ray Devers; brothers Gilbert, Albert, Leonard, Adolph, and Arnold Knabe; sister Lorene Knabe Morrison.
