Funeral services for Doug Robison 78, of Gainesville are set for Monday March 5, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Reverend Aubrey Spires officating with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 4, 2012 from 4:00 til 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Doug passed away on March 1, 2012 in Denton x.



Doug was born on January 14, 1934 in Marysville Tx. to James Earl and Effie Dorthy Davidson Robison.Doug received a Master's degree from Texas A& M University and retired from North Central Texas College as a professor of Soil Science. Doug is survived by his wife Bonnie Robison of Gainesville, Son Mark Robison of Denton Tx, Daughter and son in law Jan and Ken Harrison of Marysville,grandson and grandaughter Kenny and Tracy Harrison of San Francisco CA., grandson Brad Harrison of Houston, grandson Don Robison of Denton,grandson Mark Dale Robison of Gainesville, great grandson Nate Robison of Gainesville, great grandson Trevor Walter of Muenster, brother Jim Robison of Marysville and Niece Lisa Pagel of Lindsay.
