Robert Mosman

Robert H. Mosman was born on November 20, 1934 in Gainesville, Texas and died on March 23, 2012 in Plano, Texas. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Gayle, his father, Nicholas, his mother, Clara, and his brother, Nicholas Jr. Robert graduated from Gainesville High School and North Texas State University. After college, he pursued his career in the real estate profession. He was a well recognized and accomplished golfer.

Robert is survived by sister Clara Mae Wiese of Gainesville, and brother Richard Mosman and wife Dana of Dallas, as well as many nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by step daughters Lauren Ann Cagle and husband Steve, Carla Gayle Smythe and husband Mark, and step son Robert Kyle Moss and wife Raquel. Robert had 5 wonderful step grandchildren, Shawna Leigh Jackson and husband Phillip, Stephen Shea Cagle, Ryan Marshal Smythe, Kahla Paige Smythe and Thomas Alan Smythe.

A visitation and brief vigil will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gainesville, Texas with burial to follow in the Fairview cemetery.
