Funeral services for Nellie Francis McDaniel Pritzen, 94, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 am Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, AR. A visitation will be held from 7:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the funeral home.

Mrs Pritzen was born on October 30, 1917 in Dekalb, Texas to L. L. and Rachael Barnett Dean. She passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 in Gainesville, Texas.

Nellie is survived by daughter Barbara Dean of Grand Prairie, TX; son and daughter-in-law Leon & Opal McDaniel of Dangerfield, TX; daughter Mary Horneman of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law Lula and Jimmy Gonzalez of Dallas, TX; son and daughter-in-law Gene and Jeri McDaniel of Watauga, TX; son-in-law Cecil Brannon of Arlington, TX; brother and sister-in-law Calvin and Vernell Dean of Lake Tawakoni, TX; sister Marilou Grimmett of North Little Rock, AR; sister and brother-in-law Julie and Kenneth Anthony of Texarkana, AR; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Son McDaniel; husband Pop Pritzen; son James Leonard McDaniel; daughter Joyce Evelyn Brannon; brother Leroy Dean; brother Bill Dean; brother Byron Orr; sister Sarah Kirkwood; and grandson William Dean.
