Ruth Hannah Penton

Graveside services for Ruth Hannah Penton 97, of Rosston are set for Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rosston Cemetery with the family officating under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Mrs. Penton passed away on March 27, 2012 in Sherman Tx.



Ruth was born on May 5, 1914 in Lake Nebagamon, WI. to John Carl Adolph and Ida Josephine Anderson Johnson. Ruth attended and was a gradute of North Central Bible College in Minneopolis, MN. and graduated with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from University of Wisconsin. She married James Louis Penton who preceded her in death in 2005. Ruth served in Sunday School and Home Missionary work with the Assemblies of God from 1934 til 1950. Ruth taught school from 1949 til 1972 and was certifed in five states. Ruth also served as a CMA certified Medical Aide in rest homes from 1976 til 1990. Ruth was a member of the Rosston Methodist Church.



Ruth is survived by a son and daughter in lawJames and Rose Penton of Sherman Tx and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.and two sisters Dr. F. Deborah Eid of San Francisco CA.and Edith Johnson of Superior WI. and numerous nieces and nephews.
