Betty Jo Haney

Graveside services for Betty Jo " Parker " Haney 82, are set for Saturday April 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son funeral home. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 14, from 1:30 til 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Betty was the daughter of Floyd Charles and Etta Francis Parker and was born on January 2, 1931 in Gainesville Texas. She was married to Leonard Leon Haney and lived in Callisburg Tx. She passed away April 11, 2012 in a nursing home in Allen, Texas. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Parker and sisters Helen Cannon, Mary McGilvary, Dorothy Brinkley, Louise Mathews and Peggy Holder. She is survived by daughter Betty Ann " Haney " Roddy and her husband Earyl Roddy of Allen ,Texas, son Bobby Ray Haney and wife Joyce Haney of Caney Oklahoma and son Jimmy Leon Haney and wife Alice Haney of Joplin Missouri. Betty is also survived by grandchildren Timothy Ray Haney, Robert Lee Haney, Daniel Earyl Roddy, Brian Burton Roddy and Katherine Ann Roddy. She has several great grandchildren, Sierra Haney, Ella Haney, Kelsey Haney, Jessica Haney, Paul Haney, Kali Roddy and Alexander Roddy .Betty attended school in Gainesville and retired from Texas Instruments in Sherman Tx, after twenty-seven years of service.
