Funeral services for Eddie Gallagher, 58, of Gainesville, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Middlebrooks officiating. Burial will be in the Dallas Forth-Worth National Cemetery at a later time.



A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.



Mr. Gallagher passed away at his home on April 21, 2012.



Eddie was born October 14, 1953 in Amherst, TX to Clarence and Anna Phillips Gallagher.



Mr. Gallagher is survived by his wife of 38 years, Corie Gallagher of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law Clint and Tammy Gallagher of Forney; son Clay Gallagher of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Steve Smith of Sonora, TX; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and David Dunn of Levelland, TX.



Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Karys Rhea Henderson; brother Ray Gallagher.
