Pauline Dietz Talmage

A graveside service for Pauline Dietz Talmage, 91, of Bridgeport is scheduled for 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Azleland Memorial Park in Azle under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Goodrich officiating. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Poolville United Methodist Church in Poolville, TX.

Mrs. Talmage went to be with her Lord April 27, 2012 in Azle. Pauline, born May 1, 1920 in Gainesville, was the only child of Arthur H. and Frieda Gess Dietz. She grew up helping in the family bakery - Dietz Bakery. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Gainesville High School. She proceeded to graduate from Texas Women’s University in Denton and earn her Master’s Degree in Foods & Nutrition from the University of Iowa.

Pauline was a dietitian for over 50 years. She was dedicated to serving her Lord and an active member of Methodist churches from Silver Creek in Azle, Tinney Chapel in Winnsboro, and for the last 10 years at Poolville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include husband of 56 years Arthur ‘Curly’ Talmage of Bridgeport; daughter Nancy Foust and husband Robert of Azle; son Tim Talmage of Azle; stepson Douglas Talmage and wife LuVerle of Azle; grandchildren Bo Fritts, Sara Fritts, Rey Talmage, Mitch Talmage, and Art Talmage; six great-grandchildren; many cousins, friends, and wonderful neighbors.

Mrs. Talmage was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Talmage’s memory to Poolville United Methodist Church, 230 N Church St, Poolville, TX 76487, (817) 599-3601.
