Funeral services for Robert Paul Smith 83, of Gainesville are set for Friday June 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Rev. Larry Kremling officating with burial to follow in Perryman Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday June 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.Mr. Smith passed away on June 12, 2012 in Gainesville.

Robert was born on September 2, 1928 in Denton Tx to James Paul and Mary Briggs Smith. Robert was employed for many years for Bostonian Shoes, also retiring from F.E.M.A. and T. W. U. University in Denton Tx.

Robert is survived by his wife Judy Smith, children Robert Paul Smith, Jr. and wife Toni and children, Renee Smith Beaver and husband Travis and children, Regina Smith Dennis and husband Elvin and children, James Paul Smith and children, Judy's children Tabb and wife Allison Fenoglio and children and Aaron and wife Crystal Brown and children and several great grandchildren. Sister Shirley Stevenson and cousin Bobby Elmore. Also a host of friends and relatives.
