Lavern Skinner Archie

Funeral services for Lavern Skinner Archey, 66, of Callisburg are set for Monday, July 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with Bro. Bobby Secrest officating with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro Tx. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Lavern died on July 19, 2012 in Gordonville, Tx.


She was born on June 11, 1946 in Gainesville to Chafe and Mary Skinner.


Lavern is survived by her husband Gearl Archey; brother Jimmy Skinner; sons Bobby Secrest and James Nelson Jolly; daughters June Douglas and Mary Wells; also 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
