Rosalee Zwinggi

A Funeral Mass for Rosalee Grewing Zwinggi, 82, of Lindsay is scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lindsay with Fr. Raymond McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lindsay under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, August 20, 2012 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.


Mrs. Zwinggi passed away August 17, 2012 in Denton. She was born August 10, 1930 in Muenster to Henry and Mary Mages Grewing, Sr.

On June 23rd, 1953, she married Kenneth Zwinggi of Lindsay. She was a life member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Society. She was an assembler at Weber Aircraft before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, baking and being a grandmother.


Survivors include: daughter Kim Rohmer and husband Stephen of Coppell; son Kelly Zwinggi of Lindsay; granddaughters Nicole and Michelle Rohmer of Coppell; sister Bernice Beyer of Lindsay; sister Joyce Zwinggi and husband Alrich of Lindsay; sister Dolores Bierschenk and husband Billy of Valley View; brother Leonard Grewing and wife Dorothy of Phoenix, AZ; brother Henry Grewing, Jr. and wife Doris of Muenster; and brother Eddie Grewing and wife Dorothy of Lindsay.

Mrs. Zwinggi was preceded in death by: husband Kenneth Zwinggi, her parents; brother Eugene Grewing; and brother-in-law Frank Beyer.

Pallbearers are Wayne Bierschenk, Gary Grewing, Jeff Grewing, Keith Grewing, Chris Zwinggi and Danny Zwinggi.

Memorials may be made to the St. Peter's Catholic Church Restoration Fund.
