Elizabeth Paclik was born June 2, 1919 in Athens, TX to Porter and Lizzie Morrison. On December 26, 1940 she married Dr. Charlie John “Doc” Paclik. They moved to Gainesville, his hometown, where Dr. Paclik set up his veterinarian clinic. Mrs. Paclik worked hand in hand with her husband to make a successful vet practice. Her family was important to her as well as her service to others. She lived as a caring example to both her friends and family and to those she ministered to in the nursing homes. She was a devoted grandmother and shared her love for fishing and reading with her four grandsons at an early age.
