Carol Ann Pearce

Memorial service for Carol Ann Martin Pearce 72, of Gainesville are set for Monday October 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.at the First Methodist Church of Gainesville with the Rev. Don Yeager officating under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Carol Ann completed her final journey to the Lord on September 26, 2012.



Carol was born on July 25, in Oshkosh ,WI. to Carlton and Eleanor Bakken Martin.Carol worked for Los Calinas in Dallas and Texas Women's University. She was a active member of the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville where she enjoyed Bible study, serving communion and assisting with Sunday School. Carol enjoyed her retirement with scrapbooking, gardening, raising cows, avid photography and living in the country. Carol lived her faith and will be missed by all. She was a kind and generous soul.



Carol is survived by her loving husband of 45 years H. John Pearce, sons Brian and loving friend Amy Shockley, Eric and loving friend Erin Cummins, granddaughter Harley Allison, sister Marian Benz and brother David Martin and his wife Patricia as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, additional family and friends.
