Jeffrey Don Banks

Memorial services for Jeffrey Don Banks, 55, of Gainesville are planned for 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Downard-Fairplains Community Center. Arrangements are under the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Jeff was born in Gainesville on April 23, 1957 to George (Sky) Banks and Billie M. Witt Banks. He passed away on October 12, 2012 at his residence.

Jeff was employed at Peterbuilt Motors in Denton for years. His lifelong hobby was fishing area lakes and streams with his father and brother. It was a family tradition for the Banks men to frequently provide ample fish for large celebrations.

Jeff Banks is survived by his mother Billie M. Banks; brother Joe Banks; daughter Kacie Methner and her husband Cody; son Travis Banks; son Kamen Banks; and grandchildren Trevor Buell and Cash Methner all of Gainesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father George "Sky" Banks, his wife Tabatha Banks, and friend Bryn Fraze.
