Kevin Micheal Dutton, 16, of Gainesville, passed out of this world on October 19, 2012. Kevin was born July 16, 1996 in Gainesville and spent the next six years being a superhero after which he branched out to clown suits and more elaborate costumes. He had low embarrassment and high intelligence and we all lost a great, creative, movie making, music making mind when he left us. Kevin believed in string theory and that there were other worlds than these. We can feel comforted that he is entertaining in an alternate universe right now, but we will mourn him here.
Kevin is survived by his parents Logan and Catherine Crump of Gainesville; his brother Alaster Haden Crump of Gainesville; his sister Christina Marie of Chicago; grandparents Jo Ellen Fisher and Mildred Crump of Gainesville; Clint and Patti Dutton of Midlothian; great-grandparents Joe and Nell Ware of Callisburg and Bill Dutton of Woodbine; aunts and uncles: Cassandra Ball of Azusa, CA, Alex and Amanda Waterhouse of Houston, Treven and Gloria Fisher of Gainesville, Elijah and Haley Fisher of Houston; cousins: Anson Rodriguez of Azusa, CA and Cecilia Waterhouse of Houston. Kevin was preceded in death by great-grandparents Troy and Irene Bryant and Barbara Wofford all of Gainesville; grandfather Beecher Crump of Gainesville.
Family night will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at the New Hope Cemetery Pavilion, near Mountain Springs, at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2012 with Rev. Hollis Parsons and Boyd Tatum officiating.
