Sharon Francis Earl

Funeral services for Sharon Francis Earl, 61, of Lake Kiowa, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Kersey officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the funeral home.


Sharon passed away November 2, 2012 in Lake Kiowa.


Mrs. Earl was born July 12, 1951 in Duncan, OK to Vernie R. Manuel and Ollie E. Davis.


Sharon loved her family and friends and would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time on her back porch. She has many friends who love her and will miss her very much. She worked as a nurse tech at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman for several years prior to taking care of her dying mother.


Mrs. Earl is survived by her husband Ron Earl of Lake Kiowa; sons and daughter-in-law Robert W. Mitchell, Sr. of Gainesville; Aaron and Kim Earl of Gainesville; Robert W. Mitchell, Jr.; daughters and son-in-law Jennifer and Chris Tipps of Sanger; Kristil Mitchell of Little Rock, AR; Christina Joslin of Gainesville; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.


Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, and 1 sister.
