Eva Dalene Harrell

Funeral services for Eva Dalene Harrell, 83, are set for Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with the Rev. Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Dalene passed away on November 20, 2012 at her home.

Dalene was born on January 15, 1929 in Gainesville to William and Helen Ballard Barlow. Dalene worked at Weber for many years and served as Treasurer at the First United Methodist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and served as a Pink Lady at the Gainesville Memorial Hospital. She loved to bake sweets and enjoyed reading a good book, but most of all, she enjoyed her family.

Dalene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Mechal Harrell; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Danny Jones; grandchildren, William and Laura Harrell, Stephanie Harrell and Klay Jones; and great-grandchild, Gracie Harrell.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Harrell, William Harrell, Klay Jones, Andy Crow, Michael Sandmann, Robert Thacker and honorary pallbearer Brad Bugg.

Dalene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Max Harrell.
