Tommy Hellinger

Funeral Mass for Tommy Hellinger, 62, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 AM Thursday, November 29, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Victor Cruz officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with a visitation to follow at 7:00 PM.

Tommy was born on January 25, 1950 in Gainesville to Frank and Christine Hellinger. He passed away on November 26, 2012 in Denton.

Tommy married Ruth Moster on June 12, 1971 in Lindsay. He worked in auto part sales, spending the last 11 years with O'Reilly Auto Parts.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Hellinger; daughters and sons-in-law Tammy and Tim Chancellor, and Tonya and Geoff Haberman; grandchildren Toni Richardson, Brandon Chancellor, Dalton Chancellor, all of Gainesville. He is also survived by brother Mike Hellinger, brother Glenn Hellinger, sister Patsy Skinner, sister Shirley Hellinger, sister Doris Floyd, sister Janie Robinson, and brother Kevin Hellinger, all of Gainesville; brother David Hellinger of Nocona; and sister Karen Bartlett of Lindsay.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jeffrey Hellinger; brother Dale Hellinger; and brother Dennis Hellinger.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Abbe, Dwayne Abbe, Michael Johnson, Jonathan Floyd, Dustin Martin, and Don Richardson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cooke County Meals on Wheels, Home Hospice of Cooke County, or a charity of your choice.
