Funeral Services for Lavera Frances Baugh 82, of Gainesville are set for Friday January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Wright and Rev. Ray Richey officating with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Lavera passed away on January 15, 2013 in Gainesville Tx.The family will receive friends on Thursday January 17, 2013 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.


Lavera was born on January 3, 1931 in Cooke County, Tx to Archie and Lona Delise Orsburn. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1947, and married Sam Baugh on September 24, 1948. She was employed for many years in the Catalog dept. at Montgomery Wards, and retired from the Gainesvile School District working in the food service dept. Lavera was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gainesville ,.Tx. She loved to cook and during the Holidays she enjoyed making each one their own special dish, but her favorite hobby was spoiling her grandchildren.


Lavera is survived by her sons and daughters in law Jerry and Barbie Baugh of Wylie, Tx and Robbie and Diane Baugh of Gainesville Tx, grandchildren and spouses Kris and Mickey Whitaker of Wylie, Tx, Sam and Kat Baugh of McKinney Tx, Brad Baugh of Trier, Germany and Sally Baugh of Gainesville, great grandson Landon Whitaker of Wylie Tx,, a brother and his wife Gordon and Ann Orsburn of Okla. City, Okla and numerous nieces ,nephews and cousins.
