Billy Bob " Bill " Narramore 90, of Nocona ,Tx was born June 22, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. and died January 16, 2013 at United Regional Hospital, Wichita Falls. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday January 19, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kremling officating with visitation from 1 to 2 Saturday at George J. Carroll Funeral Home, Gainesville,Tx. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Marie Narramore by his parents Wallace and Cleo Smith Narramore, bro. Eugene, sons Billy Bob, Richard, Danny Jones, and daughter Linda Pope. For the better part of Billy's life he worked as a crane operator building roads and bridges. He served our country in the United States Air force in World War II as an Ariel Gunner receiving the American Theater Campaign Medal, good conduct medal, and the World War II victory medal. Billy is survived by wife Estelle, daughter Rita and Bill Glenn of Allendale, Mo., daughter Carol and Ralph Draper of Little Rock, Ark., son Johnny and Linda McConnell of Broken Arrow, Ok.,daughter Diane Morris of King man, Az., daughter Billie Lynette Narramore and family of Texarkana, daughter Linda and Tim Ewing of Arlington, son Donald and Kathy Jones of Electra, and daughter in law Joanie Jones of Gainesville. And his many grand children and great grand children. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Carpenters Workshop ( Senior Citizen Center ) 400 Boston St. Noconna Tx 76255.
