Evelyn Mcintosh

A graveside service for Evelyn McIntosh, 98, of Forney, formerly of Gainesville, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. A visitation will be held for family and friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.


Mrs. McIntosh passed away on January 24, 2013 in Forney.


Evelyn was born on November 28, 1914 in Bulcher to Claude Ivy and Ada Marie Smith Miller. She married John McIntosh in 1934 in Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with all his business ventures.


Mrs. McIntosh is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John Wallace and Helen McIntosh of Kirkwood, MO; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Wanda McIntosh of Forney; grandchildren Michele McIntosh, Kathy McIntosh-Davis, Doug McIntosh, Amy Koelln; great-grandchildren Lucy Koelln, Laura Davis, Samantha McIntosh.


Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John McIntosh; her son William Joseph McIntosh.
