Graveside Services for Carol Sue Shell Robertson, 55, of Gainesville are set for 1:30 PM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Valley View Cemetery with Bro. Bill Fincher officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. No visitation is planned.

Carol Sue Shell Robertson went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2013 in Gainesville.

She was born on November 4, 1957 to F.D. (Boady) and Nona Shell in Gainesville.

She is survived by her mother Nona Shell; brother Leslie Shell; brother Joey Shell; and a sister Melissa Barthold. She is also survived by nephews Justin Barthold, Cody Shell, and Chad Lee; niece Honey Shell; and four great-nephews and six great-nieces.

Carol had many attributes that made her special. She was honest and generous, to the point she would give you her last dollar. She had a great sense of humor and wit. When she was around, she kept you laughing and wandering how that popped into her head. She loved all animals, especially her two dogs Sister and Pepper. She loved her family and defended them no matter the circumstances.

She held many jobs in her lifetime. The last job was a desk clerk at the Days Inn. The last several years, she had a lot of health problems that put limits on what she could do, but she always gave 100% on what she did.

She was preceded in death by her dad Boady Shell, sister Tina Silman, and great-nephew Kelby Barthold.
