Funeral services for Donald Eugene Coker, 85, of Gainesville, are set for 1:30 PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 12:30 PM Sunday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Donald was born on March 31, 1927 in Devol, OK. to John Wesley and Pearl Lillian Martin Coker. Donald served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Wanda Ellen Martin on November 29, 1947 in Henrietta, TX..

He is survived by his wife Wanda Coker; daughter Karen Sue Graham and her husband James of Gainesville; daughter Glenda Jean Barnes of Lindsay; son Don Coker, Jr. of Gulf Breeze, FL.; grandchildren Jackie Lane, Garron Badgwell, Misty Badgwell, Vanessa Kennedy, Casey Forson; nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, five sisters, daughter Donna Kay Coker, grandson Jason Tompkins, grandson Cody Forson.
