Laboyte Dick

A memorial service for LaBoyte Dick, 78, of Whitesboro, is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. A visitation will follow the service.



Mr. Dick passed away May 2, 2013 in Callisburg.



LaBoyte was born February 4, 1935 in Delaware Bend, TX to Mertie and J.R. Dick. He served in the USAF for seven years and then went to work for National Supply, where he retired after 21 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing until he could no longer do it.



LaBoyte is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruby Dick of Whitesboro; daughter, Tina DeBarge and husband, Tim of Houston; brother T.H. Dick of Whitesboro and sister Niobe Nolen of Farmers Branch; brother-in-law, Thomas Riddle of Gainesville; grandchildren: Misty Foreman and husband, Jason of Baton Rouge, LA, Jessica Dick of San Antonio, and Jeremy Dick of Casper, WY; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.



Mr. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Dick; and sister, Kydeen Riddle.



The family would like to thank niece, Gloria Neu and friend, Debbie Mask for their support.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Cooke County.
