Lois A. Brown

Funeral services for Lois A. Brown, 70, of Valley View, are set for 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Harvey St. Baptist Church with Rev. Jordan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the church.


Lois passed away May 13, 2013 at her residence.


Mrs. Brown was born May 30, 1942 in Gainesville, to E. J. and Lela Faye Jones. She was a graduate of Callisburg High School. She worked for Linda Jo Shoe Factory for many years, and later was employed by quality Home Health Services until her own health began to fail. She was also a member of Harvey Street Baptist Church.


Lois is survived by her husband of 45 years, Lannie Brown of Valley View; daughters Jennifer, Andrea, Teresa, Aimee, and Holli; sons Brian, Charles, and John; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces nephews, and cousins.


Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers Wayne, Kenneth, Jim, and Perry Jones; sister-in-law Pauline Jones.


Pall bearers will be Brian Brown, Charles Brown, Kerry Johnson, Jerry Neighbors, Curtis Holland, and Danny Nichols.
