Ronny (Ron) Shaw

Graveside services for Ronny (Ron) Shaw, 44, of Denton, are set for 10:00 AM Friday, June 7, 2013, in the New Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Ron died June 2, 2013 in Denton.

He was born Ronald Gene Shaw on April 8, 1969 in Gainesville, to Robert Wayne and Linda Marie (Clark) Shaw. He graduated from Gainesville High School and attended DeVry University.

Ron had worked the last 14 years at the J.C. Penny in Fort Worth. He was a big Dale Earnhart, Jr. and Danica Patrick fan. He loves riding his motorcycle and family get-togethers.

He is survived by his mother, Linda McGehee of Denton; stepmother Barbara Shaw of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law Kizzie and Terry Ohnmacht of Denton; sister J.J. Shaw of Gainesville; sister Sharon Kirby of Van Alstyne; brother Danny Grice of Tennessee Colony; cousin, who was like a brother, Scott Dishman of Collinsville; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ron was preceded in death by his grandparents and his dad.
