Glenna Lee Greene Delaney

Funeral services for Glenna Lee Greene Delaney, 80, of Stephenville Tx, are set for Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with the Rev. Larry Kremling officating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Glenna passed away on July 20, 2013 in Fort Worth, Tx.

Glenna was born on August 24, 1932 in Chickasaw, Ok to Elbert Nelson and Dorthy Beatrice Greene. She married Charles E. Delaney on November 20, 1986 and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2010. Glenna lived in the Colony, Tx and moved to Stephenville, Tx in 2010. She was a member of the Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville, Tx. Glenna enjoyed being with her family, sewing, cooking, shopping and playing games with her friends.

Glenna is survived by her daughter Patty Baker of Comanche, Tx, brothers Kenneth Ray (Jack) Greene, Jimmy Dale (J.D.) Greene, both of Gainesville, step-children Tim Delaney of Washington, D.C., Kathey Delaney Warner of Arlington, Tx, Kevin Delaney of Sugarland, Tx, Karen Delaney Smith of Irving, Tx, Dennis Delaney of Austin, Tx, Tom Delaney of Euless, Tx and their spouses, children and grandchildren.

Glenna's nephews will be serving as pallbearers.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Delaney, sisters Mable Mask, Lucille Neal, Ruth Bullard, brothers H.L. Greene, G.D. Greene, John Greene and Elbert Leroy Greene.
